Situation:

A single family was moving from their 2 1/2 storey, 4 bedroom home on Teddington Park Avenue to a much smaller living space out of Toronto. The family had to divest themselves of their personal belongings as well as numerous collections of items cultivated over the past 15-20 years.

Solution:

Sorrel Contents Solutions was contacted a month prior to conducting the contents sale; there was such a large volume of items it took 3-4 weeks of set up that included cleaning, organizing, sorting, and pricing every item in the house.

Result:

The sale took place over two weekends due to the sheer size of the contents sale, which Sorrel Contents Solutions successfully sold over 90% of the households’ contents. Items sold included but were not limited too:

A Knabe baby grand piano, 14 ft. dining table and 12 custom chairs, solid marble top French side stand, solid marble matching hall stands, armoires, antique sofas, cupboards, a large collection of designer women’s clothing, all kinds of accent furniture, side stands and chairs, Chinese furniture and decoratives, mirrors, European china cabinet, Italian secretary desk, classical and modern art work, figures, decoratives, collectibles, silver plated items and lighting fixtures! The grounds were also covered in wrought iron pieces, wrought iron furniture, statuary, urns, ornaments, rails, fencing, benches, pots and planters and much, much more!
