Situation: A couple from Hamilton had inherited their mother’s home and all its contents. The couple was overwhelmed with the amount of items their mother had acquired over the years including two vehicles, motorcycles, and vast assortment of furniture, pictures, and other items, not to mention a lot of junk!

Solution: Sorrel Contents was commissioned to remove all waste and prepare the house for staging purposes in order to put it on the market. The house sold almost immediately, after which Sorrel Contents went to work in order to prepare for a massive contents sale.

Result: The sale was a great success, Sorrel Contents was able to sell a large portion of the houses contents with few items left over. Items sold this past weekend included: a selection of Persian and oriental carpets, dining room and kitchen furniture, walnut piano, lamps, cabinets, leather furniture, mahogany office desk chaise lounge, bedroom furniture, wall hangings, dozens of pieces of art work (oils, pictures, prints), china, crystal, silver & figures, a huge selection of electronics (turntables, radios, vintage TVs, microphones, VCRs, speakers and stereo console, reel to reels, other unusual electronic instruments, lamps, mirrors, bronzes & collectibles, new/like new men’s and ladies clothing, costume & other jewelry, treadmill, glassware, tableware & household items, luggage, bedding, hand tools & garden items, boxes of ceramic tiles, vintage outboard motor, chrome car bumpers, and tons more!
