Demolition / Estate Sale

Situation:

This family was demolishing the house to re-build a new home on the same property. However, prior to construction taking place the family needed to remove the entire contents of the house, including everything in the pool house which consisted of wall-to-wall patio furniture and the like.

Solution:

Sorrel Contents Solutions was called in to move all the furniture out of the pool house so that it could be ready for sale. The house was then organized and prepared so as to price every last item before the estate and demolition sale. Appraisals were done, Sorrel Contents Solutions conducted appraisals and called some industry experts to ensure the family was getting the best price for their precious items like jewelry, art, china, and hand-made Persian carpets.

Result:

It was a massive blow out, every piece of furniture, every item, every fixture, the entire kitchen, laundry rooms, full en-suite bathrooms including the plumbing and wiring, fences and gates were sold. A contractor was on site to remove fixture items including toilets, doorknobs, windows, doors, and built-in home appliances. Other items sold included: jewelry, fine china, kitchen items, glass, fine crystal, carpets, art, paintings, sculptures, patio furniture, bedroom furniture, clothing, linens, towels, rolls of fabric, light fixtures, wood moldings, garden items, trees & plants were dug up from the garden and even the entire stonework that was for the driveway was removed! Needless to say the results were beyond the family’s expectations!
